to have and to hold.......
i was on my way to vonyas wedding when my phone rings. its my sister. as im getting onto the freeway to get across town. i mean WAY across town, its 430 and the wedding was going to start at 5. i knew what she was going to tell me before i even answered the phone. her water broke. yes, the baby was coming. i told her i would be to the hospital asap. i went to the wedding, took all the ceremony, bridal and family pictures, and a handful of amazing candid photos. we giggled the whole time! a wedding and my new nephew?!! so much happy crammed into such a tiny amount of time. i finished the wedding photographs, and miraculously made it to the hospital in plenty of time. so... congratulations sweet friend! im so happy i talked you into wanting pictures of your wedding!! happiest wishes to you and your jesse. <3

domo
sad little domo is missing an eye. not in this picture, but soon after this was taken. im determined to fix it, once i find a suitable replacement. im guessing the original eye little domo came with is keeping memphis's puppy chow company at the bottom of her belly.

i found this picture of two of my favorite littles. its from last november when we went to san diego for brylees birthday party, and then we took kyler to disneyland for his. (they are 7 days apart) we were wandering around down town pt loma taking amandas family photos, when these two crazy boys settled down for 2 seconds to just take in the all the pretty.

grannys garden...
this is not actually grannys garden. i wish more than anything that it was, and if i just wandered down the moss covered bricks, it would lead me right to where she was. i miss her. every single day. when i saw this little fuzzy green brick path i was immediately transported to another place in my life. even if she isnt around, its nice to know that every once in a while i can find her. down a mossy little brick walkway that always ends in my heart.

a dream is a wish your heart makes...
i will never skip over the opportunity to make a wish. never ever. i wish on stars, dandylions, candles, significant times of day, ill use any excuse really.... we could all use a little luck, a little shove. i like to think of my wishes as tiny prayers.... all day long, bits and pieces of my heart.

so hilarious....
i need to slow down, take a break. i dont ever do anything for myself. ever. that includes doing silly fun stuff that i would love to goof off and do. not just work, or things i have to do. im always running on empty. out of time, out of interest, out of gumption. so what if its february. im gonna make my new years resolution... inspired by dumb crab lips. i dont have to do so much. and if i decide to, i need to make time for myself. to do all the unnecessary little things that keep me happy, make life what it should be and get back to the things i enjoy. maybe along the way ill find some new ones.
